J. Walter Thompson has been the agency of record for the Marines for 50 years. We have been with them every step of the way into the digital age and the web sites have been phenomenally successful. For this version, launched in 2002, JWT handled strategy and positioning and partnered with KNI for design and development.

Result +
Marines.com has not only helped increase qualified leads for recruitment but speaks appropriately to a wider audience that includes parents, teachers, friends, etc. The site that launched was much stronger for having a large team of collaborators of which I was pleased to be one. It has been well received by the industry winning an One Show Pencil, Favorite Web site Awards Site of the Year, and has been featured in Communication Arts Interactive Annual and Adweek Magazine.
